Sustainable aviation fuel compatibility is becoming a procurement criterion because fuel system seals and pumps must withstand changes in viscosity, aromatics, and chemical composition. Airline sustainability commitments are therefore pressuring OEMs to demonstrate compatibility across a wider range of approved fuel blends.
